I’m Aaron McGarity. I don’t like to wear shoes, and I like cheese dip. I also like taking pictures, riding my bicycle, playing musical instruments, drinking coffee, and learning to cook and garden. I’d like to learn how to whistle, and if I ever do learn I don’t think I’ll ever shut up. I’m a sophmore at Belmont University and I’m studying Religion and the Arts, and Social Entrepreneurship.
Community is tons of fun, and really hard sometimes, too. But I know this is where I’m supposed to be, and I’m enjoying being here. I’m learning how much I need to learn, and working on living in the community and learning in these present times rather than peering off into the future. I’m learning to be a lilly of the field, or a bird, or something like that.
